WHAT WE DO
Wash Away Unemployment is a 501(c)3 founded in Craven County, North Carolina.

Our mission is to provide economic opportunities to community members with high barriers to employment through our transitional housing, on-the-job training and entrepreneurship programs. We also work to build relationships with local employers and advocate for changes in policies that discriminate against people who may have been justice involve in their past.

We operate through our programs, Home Transitional Network which support and serve our local community. We also have three social enterprises, Miracle Car Wash, Need Labor Staffing and our Catalyst Kitchens Project, (in the planning phase) that take our programs to the next level by offering career development, work place/business ethics, and skill training.
